New York Mets second baseman/right fielder Jeff McNeil is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's season finale against right-hander Erick Fedde and the Washington Nationals.
McNeil went 3-for-8 with a double, a solo home run, and a pair of runs scored across both games of Tuesday's doubleheader. Tyler Naquin will take over in right field and lead things off for the Mets as they put a bow on the regular season. Francisco Lindor will move into the three-hole in place of McNeil.
Naquin is numberFire's top point-per-dollar value among batters on Wednesday. He has a $2,300 salary and our models project him for 13.7 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Mets' implied total (4.05) is tied for No. 8 in the majors today.
