Boston Red Sox pitcher Corey Kluber has been named the Opening Day starter against the Baltimore Orioles.
Kluber will make his Red Sox debut on Opening Day. In January, he signed a one-year, $10 million contract with an $11 million club option for 2024. The veteran right-hander registered a 4.34 ERA and 1.21 WHIP, with 139 strikeouts and 21 walks, over 164 innings in 31 starts with the Tampa Bay Rays last season.
numberFire's models project Kluber to score 21.6 FanDuel points on Opening Day. He's expected to record a 4.47 ERA and 1.31 WHIP over the course of the season, with 147 strikeouts and 41 walks.
