Cleveland Guardians pitcher Shane Bieber has been named the Opening Day starter versus the Seattle Mariners.
Bieber will make his fourth consecutive Opening Day start for the Guardians. The 27-year-old right-hander recorded a 2.88 ERA and 1.04 WHIP with 198 strikeouts and 36 walks over 200 innings in 31 starts with Cleveland last year.
numberFire's models project Bieber to score 34.1 FanDuel points on Opening Day. He's expected to record a 3.15 ERA and 1.09 WHIP over the course of the season, with 224 strikeouts and 49 walks.
