Detroit Tigers pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez has been named the Opening Day starter against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Rodriguez is looking to bounce back after being limited to 17 starts in his first season with the Tigers due to injuries and personal issues. He has thrown 13 scoreless innings in spring play with 15 strikeouts and 2 walks.
numberFire's models project Rodriguez to score 18.7 FanDuel points on Opening Day. He's expected to record a 4.54 ERA and 1.36 WHIP over the course of the season, with 112 strikeouts and 47 walks.
