Seattle Mariners pitcher Luis Castillo has been named the Opening Day starter versus the Cleveland Guardians.
The Mariners chose Castillo over Robbie Ray. The 30-year-old right-hander registered a 2.99 ERA and 1.08 WHIP with a 27.2% strikeout rate last season.
numberFire's models project Castillo to score 30.4 FanDuel points on Opening Day. He's expected to record a 3.27 ERA and 1.15 WHIP over the course of the season, with 224 strikeouts and 64 walks.
