San Francisco Giants infielder J.D. Davis is not in the starting lineup against right-hander Michael Kopech and the Chicago White Sox in Monday afternoon's series opener.
Davis made his first start for the Giants on Sunday and went 1-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout. Lamonte Wade Jr. will move back to first base in place of Davis while Blake Sabol will return to left field. Roberto Perez will replace Davis in the lineup to catch for Anthony DeSclafani and hit ninth. Thairo Estrada will bat third after being at the bottom of the order last game.
Wade is currently numberFire’s fifth-best point-per-dollar value among projected batters on Monday. He has a $2,400 salary on the 15-game All Day slate and our models project him for 11.6 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Giants' implied total is 3.79 and the game total is 8.0.
