Detroit Tigers infielder Javier Baez is not in the starting lineup versus right-hander Cristian Javier and the Houston Astros in Wednesday afternoon's series finale.
Baez will get a breather after starting the first six games and going 2-for-20 with an RBI, a run scored, a walk, and 5 strikeouts. Ryan Kreidler will cover shortstop while Zach McKinstry will replace Baez in the lineup to play second base and bat eighth. Riley Greene will hit second and Matt Vierling will bat third.
numberFire’s models project McKinstry ($2,100) for 8.0 FanDuel points on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Tigers' implied total is 3.01 (second-lowest on the board) and the game total is 7.5.
