The Cincinnati Reds did not include Stuart Fairchild in their lineup for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Fairchild will take a seat on Sunday as the Reds bring Jason Vosler into the lineup at first base to bat fourth against Phillies right-hander Aaron Nola. Wil Myers will move from first base up to right field to cover for Fairchild.
Fairchild is having the best season of his career at the plate so far this year, but is playing almost exclusively against left-handed pitching. He's batting .250 with a .935 OPS, 1 home run, 7 runs, 4 RBI, and a stolen base in 26 plate appearances this season.
