Boston Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran is in the starting lineup for Monday morning's series finale against right-hander Shohei Ohtani and the Los Angeles Angels.
The Red Sox recalled Duran from Triple-A Worcester on Monday and sent Bobby Dalbec down in a correlated move. Duran will start in center field and bat ninth in Monday's Patriots' Day game against the Angels. Enrique Hernandez will move to shortstop in place of an idle Yu Chang. Raimel Tapia will replace Alex Verdugo in right field and hit leadoff. Triston Casas will replace Justin Turner on first base and bat fifth. Reese McGuire will catch for Brayan Bello and bat seventh while Connor Wong will sit. Rob Refsnyder will man left field and hit third again. Masataka Yoshida will be Boston's designated hitter again and bat cleanup. Rafael Devers will bat second.
numberFire’s models project Tapia for 9.9 FanDuel points on Monday and he has a $4,500 salary on the single-game slate. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Red Sox's implied total is 3.77 and the game total is 8.0.
