Cincinnati Reds infielder Jason Vosler is not in the starting lineup against left-hander Jalen Beeks and the Tampa Bay Rays in Monday's series opener.
Beeks is only expected to work as an opener on Monday, but the left-handed hitting Vosler will still take a seat against the Rays' southpaw. Wil Myers will move to first base and hit third while Jake Fraley will shift to right field and bat sixth. Kevin Newman will be the Reds' designated hitter and fifth batter. Jose Barrero will replace Vosler in the lineup to play shortstop and hit eighth.
numberFire’s models project Myers ($2,700) for 7.8 FanDuel points on Monday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Reds' implied total is 4.40 and the game total is 9.5. Beeks is only expected to throw an inning or two before giving way to the Rays' bullpen.
