Texas Rangers pitcher Jacob deGrom expects to make his next scheduled start on Sunday against the Oakland Athletics.
deGrom was lifted from Monday's start against the Kansas City Royals after four no-hit innings due to soreness in his right wrist. Barring any setbacks, the 34-year-old star right-hander should be able to avoid missing a start.
numberFire's models project deGrom for 33.5 FanDuel points on Sunday. In two starts with six-plus innings this season, he averaged 52.0 FanDuel points and allowed 4 runs (3 earned) on 9 hits with 20 strikeouts and 2 walks. deGrom has a 3.48 ERA overall, but his 2.05 xERA ranks in the top 7% of the league.
