The Colorado Rockies listed Brenton Doyle as their starter in centerfield for Monday's game against the Cleveland Guardians.
The Rockies called up Doyle to the main roster while optioning Eleheuris Montero to Triple-A. He'll bat eighth and cover centerfield for Yonathan Daza, who suffered a hand injury in Sunday's loss to the Phillies.
Doyle has been highly successful at the Triple-A level so far this season, posting a 1.036 OPS in his first 57 plate appearances. He notched 5 homers, 12 runs, 8 RBI, and 1 stolen base prior to his promotion.
