San Diego Padres pitcher Yu Darvish (right hamstring cramp) is expected to make his next start after exiting Sunday's start against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Darvish exited with a trainer in the bottom of the sixth inning, but he should be fine for his scheduled start on Sunday against the San Francisco Giants. The 36-year-old right-hander punched out five before leaving and earned his first win of the season.
Darvish is averaging 33.3 FanDuel points through four starts this season. He has a 3.00 ERA (3.23 xERA) and .259 wOBA (.283 xwOBA) across 24 innings, with a 25.5% strikeout rate and 12.2% walk rate. The veteran is allowing a career-best 31.0% hard-hit rate so far in 2023. numberFire's models project Darvish for 35.7 FanDuel points on Sunday.
