Kansas City Royals outfielder Franmil Reyes is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Reyes will move to the bench on Wednesday with MJ Melendez starting in the designated hitter role. Melendez will bat third versus right-hander Zac Gallen and Arizona.
