The Kansas City Royals did not list Hunter Dozier in their lineup for Sunday's game against the Oakland Athletics.
Dozier will start Sunday's game on the sidelines while MJ Melendez covers right field and bats fourth against the A's.
Dozier has had a slow start to the season, batting .176 with a .533 OPS through 75 plate appearances so far.
