The Tampa Bay Rays recalled starting pitcher Taj Bradley from Triple-A Durham on Thursday.
Bradley will start Thursday's series finale against the New York Mets after spending more than three weeks in the minors. Across three starts in the bigs, Bradley impressed with a 38.3% strikeout rate, 3.3% walk rate, 11.5% swinging-strike rate, and 28.7% called plus swinging-strike rate. The rookie right-hander recorded six-plus strikeouts in all three of those starts. The Rays optioned right-hander Zack Burdi to Durham in a corresponding roster move.
