Chicago White Sox outfielder Gavin Sheets has been scratched from the lineup Saturday in the team's game againts the Kansas City Royals.
After being listed on the original lineup for Saturday's affair, Sheets has now been removed less than three hours before scheduled first pitch. Adam Haseley is taking over in right field versus Royals starter Jordan Lyles.
In 111 plate appearances this season, Sheets has a .253 bating average with a .769 OPS, 6 home runs, 11 runs and 17 RBI.
