Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper is not in the lineup for Tuesday's series opener against right-hander Kodai Senga and the New York Mets.
Harper will take a breather after going hitless -- with 3 walks and 3 strikeouts -- the past three games. Kyle Schwarber will take over at designated hitter and cleanup duty while Nick Castellanos moves up a spot and hits third. Dalton Guthrie will replace Harper in the lineup to play left field and bat ninth.
numberFire’s models project Schwarber ($3,000) for 13.1 FanDuel points on Tuesday. Castellanos ($3,400) is projected for 11.5 FanDuel points. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Phillies' implied total is 4.05 and the game total is 8.5. Senga has a 3.94 ERA and 1.52 WHIP this season, with a 28.6% strikeout rate and 14.6% walk rate. The punchout rate is fifth-highest and the walk rate is second-highest among Tuesday's listed starters.
