Tampa Bay Rays right-handed pitcher Yonny Chirinos will start in Thursday afternoon's series finale against the Minnesota Twins.
The Rays recalled Chirinos from Triple-A Durham and optioned down fellow righty Cooper Criswell. Chirinos has made seven appearances (one start) this season and recorded a 2.79 ERA with 11 strikeouts and 11 walks over 29 innings. Tyler Glasnow will start on Friday.
numberFire's models project Chirinos ($6,700) for 23.4 FanDuel points over four innings of work on Thursday afternoon. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Twins have the second-lowest implied total (3.61) in the majors today and the game total is a pitcher-friendly 7.5.
