New York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton is not in the lineup on Wednesday against right-hander Luis Castillo and the Seattle Mariners.
The Yankees are giving Stanton the evening off after he went 0-for-11 with 1 walk and 7 strikeouts over the last three games. Willie Calhoun will take over at designated hitter and the three-hole.
numberFire’s models project Calhoun ($2,300) for 7.9 FanDuel points on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Yankees' implied total is second-lowest of the day at 3.19 and the game total is a pitcher-friendly 7.0. Over 14 starts this season, Castillo has put together a 3.39 SIERA, 29.6% strikeout rate, and 6.9% walk rate. He also has 10 punchouts in two of his past four outings.
