San Francisco Giants outfielder Mike Yastrzemski (hamstring inflammation) is not in the lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Blake Snell and the San Diego Padres.
Yastrzemski was removed from Wednesday's game due to a hamstring issue, but an MRI showed he avoided a strain, so the outfielder is considered day-to-day. Luis Matos will cover right field and hit second on Thursday while Bryce Johnson starts in center field and bats ninth.
numberFire’s models project Matos ($2,400) for 7.5 FanDuel points on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Giants' implied total is 3.80 and the game total is 8.0. Snell has been on a heater over his last four starts, with a 2.12 xFIP, 42.4% strikeout rate, and 9.8% walk rate.
