The Miami Marlins did not list Joey Wendle as a starter for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Wendle will sit out Sunday's game while the Marlins start Jacob Amaya at shortstop and have him bat eighth.
Wendle is batting .252 with 1 homer, 13 runs, 8 RBI, and 2 stolen bases through 130 plate appearances this season.
