The Miami Marlins did not list Jorge Soler as a starter for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Soler will take Sunday afternoon off to rest while the Marlins start Jonathan Davis in centerfield and have him bat ninth.
Soler is having his best season since 2019, batting .248 with 21 homers, 41 runs, 45 RBI, 1 stolen base, and a .872 OPS through 312 plate appearances.
