Detroit Tigers designated hitter Miguel Cabrera is not in the lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Cody Bradford and the Texas Rangers.
Cabrera will rest for the matinee after he started the first three games of the series and went 3-for-8 with a run scored, an RBI, 2 walks, and a strikeout. Javier Baez will take over at DH and Zack Short will start at shortstop. Jonathan Schoop will return to third base and hit sixth.
numberFire’s models project Schoop ($2,100) for 7.9 FanDuel points on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Tigers' implied total is 4.01 and the game total is 9.0.
