Cleveland Guardians right-handed pitcher Cal Quantrill will start on Friday afternoon versus the Chicago Cubs.
The Guardians activated Quantrill from the 15-day injured list Friday after he missed a month with a shoulder injury. He allowed three hits and one walk over five scoreless innings, while striking out three, at Double-A Akron in his only rehab outing.
Quantrill is averaging 18.3 FanDuel points per game this season. He has a 5.61 ERA and 5.84 xERA (bottom 8th percentile of majors) this season, with a 39.3% hard-hit rate, 12.8% strikeout rate (bottom 2nd percentile), and 7.5% walk rate.
