Houston Astros outfielder Chas McCormick is not in the lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Chase Anderson and the Colorado Rockies.
McCormick will sit for the matinee after he went 5-for-12 with a homer, a triple, a double, 6 RBI, a walk, and 2 strikeouts over the last three games. Corey Julks will shift to left field and hit seventh on Wednesday afternoon while Jose Abreu will take over as the designated hitter and cleanup man. Bligh Madris will enter the lineup to play first base and bat sixth. Alex Bregman will move up two spots and hit second.
numberFire’s models project Madris ($4,000 on single-game slate) for 5.7 FanDuel points on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Astros' implied total is 5.20 and the game total is 9.0. Anderson has a 6.50 ERA and 5.59 xERA (bottom 10th percentile of MLB) this season, with a 32.2% hard-hit rate (top 87th), 16.7% strikeout rate (bottom 13th), and 7.8% walk rate.
