Tampa Bay Rays infielder Yandy Diaz has been placed on the paternity list.
Diaz will not be available for Friday's game against the Kansas City Royals. He could return on either Saturday or Sunday.
Diaz is batting 0.323 this season with 13 homers and 43 RBI in 341 plate appearances.
