The Los Angeles Dodgers have acquired pitchers Lance Lynn and Joe Kelly on Friday.
After 70 starts with Chicago, Lynn will head to the National League after the Dodgers made their third deal this week. Expect the veteran to immediately hold down a rotation spot for a team ranked 15th with a 4.28 expected Fielding Independent Pitching rating while Kelly should have a middle relif role.
In 119.2 innings this season, Lynn has accounted for a 4.02 expected Fielding Independent Pitching rating, a 13.9% swinging strike percentage, and a 26.9% K-rate while Kelly has produced a 3.08 expected Fielding Independent Pitching rating and a 32.0% K-rate in 29.0 innings.
