The Boston Red Sox did not list Jorge Alfaro in their lineup for Monday's game against the Seattle Mariners.
Alfaro will sit out Monday's game while the Red Sox put Connor Wong back behind the dish and have him hit seventh.
Alfaro is projected for just 29 more plate appearances this season.
