The Los Angeles Dodgers acquired left-handed starter Ryan Yarbrough from the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday.
The Dodgers have added another southpaw as they gear up for a postseason run. The 31-year-old could contribute in long relief and as a starter.
Yarbrough recorded a 4.24 ERA and 4.80 xERA in 14 games (seven starts) for the Royals this season, with a weak 13.7% strikeout rate and elite 3.8% walk rate.
