Texas Rangers outfielder Travis Jankowski will start in left field and hit second in Wednesday afternoon's series finale against the Oakland Athletics.
This is only the second time Jankowski has been in the lineup in six games as he deals with a 1-for-22 slump at the plate. Robbie Grossman will shift to designated hitter on Wednesday while Sam Huff will start behind the plate in place of Mitch Garver.
numberFire’s models project Jankowski ($2,500) for 9.7 FanDuel points on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rangers' implied total is 5.20, fourth-highest on the board, and the game total is 8.5. Austin Pruitt will serve as Oakland's opening pitcher and Freddy Tarnok will work in the bulk relief role. The 24-year-old right-hander has a 6.75 ERA with 10 strikeouts and 9 walks over 10 2/3 innings this season.
