Washington Nationals outfielder Lane Thomas is not starting in Saturday's lineup against the Oakland Athletics.
After Thomas was scratched on Saturday, Stone Garrett will man right field and bat sixth.
Per Baseball Savant on 130 batted balls this season, Garrett has accounted for a 7.7% barrel rate and a .236 expected average.
