Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Kyle Lewis is not in the lineup on Tuesday against left-hander Ty Blach and the Colorado Rockies.
Lewis started at designated hitter in Monday's series opener after being called up earlier in the day. He went 0-for-4 and struck out twice. Ketel Marte will start at DH and lead off for the Diamondbacks against a southpaw on Tuesday. Geraldo Perdomo will move to second base while Nick Ahmed will start at shortstop and hit eighth. Corbin Carroll will bat second behind Marte.
numberFire’s models project Marte ($4,000) for the most FanDuel points among hitters on Tuesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Diamondbacks have the best implied total of the day at 6.77 and the game total is a sky-high 12.5 at Coors Field. Blach has a horrendous 6.18 xERA and 9.4% strikeout rate, with a 45.8% hard-hit rate, across 32 innings this season.
