The Cincinnati Reds did not list Matt McLain in their lineup for Monday's game against the San Francisco Giants.
McLain will catch a breather Monday while the Reds have Nick Senzel join the lineup in left field and bat second. Spencer Steer will play second base.
McLain has been having a fantastic rookie season, batting .290 with 16 homers, 65 runs, 50 RBI, 14 stolen bases, and a .864 OPS in his 403 plate appearances.
