Cleveland Guardians outfielder Oscar Gonzalez is not in the lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Sonny Gray and the Minnesota Twins.
Gonzalez is sitting for the second time this series after he went 0-for-4 and struck out twice on Tuesday. The Guardians are starting Will Brennan, Myles Straw, and Ramon Laureano across the outfield on Wednesday afternoon. Steven Kwan is serving as the designated hitter for Cleveland.
numberFire’s models project Laureano ($2,300) for 9.8 FanDuel points on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Guardians' implied total is only 3.40 and the game total is 7.5. Gray has a 3.06 ERA and 3.74 xERA this season, with a 40.1% hard-hit rate, 24.3% strikeout rate, and 8.1% walk rate.
