Toronto Blue Jays catcher Danny Jansen has been placed on the injured list.
Jansen suffered a fractured right middle finger Friday night. As a result, the team has placed him on the 10-day injured list. Tyler Heineman has been recalled from Triple-A Buffalo.
In 301 plate appearances this season, Jansen has a .228 batting average with a .786 OPS, 17 home runs, 38 runs and 53 RBI.
