Kansas City Royals outfielder Edward Olivares will start at designated hitter and bat fifth on Tuesday against right-hander Dylan Cease and the Chicago White Sox.
Olivares hit second against a lefty as the Royals' DH in Monday's series opener and went 3-for-4 with 2 homers, 3 RBI, and 2 runs scored. He will work a few spots lower on Tuesday for Kansas City. Bobby Witt will bat second and Nick Loftin will hit eighth.
numberFire’s models project Olivares ($2,300) for 9.2 FanDuel points on Tuesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Royals' implied total is 4.91 and the game total is 9.5. Cease has a 4.91 ERA and 4.13 xERA this season, with a 41.0% hard-hit rate, 26.5% strikeout rate, and 10.7% walk rate.
