Los Angeles Angels outfielder Shohei Ohtani (oblique) will not be in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Cleveland Guardians.
Ohtani will remain sidelined on Thursday with an oblique injury, but the Angels are hopeful that he will be ready to go for Friday's game.
Ohtani is batting 0.304 this season with 44 homers and 95 RBI in 599 plate appearances. The Angels have an implied win probability of 56.3% against the Guardians on Thursday, according to numberFire's models.
