Osleivis Basabe will not start in the Tampa Bay Rays' Monday night game against the Minnesota Twins.
Basabe will take a seat Monday while Taylor Walls starts at shortstop and bats seventh against the Twins.
Basabe has made 70 plate appearances so far as a rookie and is batting .234 with 1 home run, 11 runs, and 9 RBI.
