Boston Red Sox infielder Trevor Story is not in the lineup for Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader against right-hander Randy Vasquez and the New York Yankees.
Ceddanne Rafaela will start at shortstop in place of Story and hit seventh. Masataka Yoshida will man left field and hit fifth while Wilyer Abreu moves over to center field. Alex Verdugo will move into the leadoff spot for Boston in the first half of Tuesday's twin-bill. Pablo Reyes (elbow) is expected to be activated from the injured list before Game 2, so Story could be out of the lineup for both contests.
numberFire’s models project Rafaela ($4,000) for 7.5 FanDuel points on the single-game slate Tuesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Red Sox's implied total is an inviting 5.10 and the game total is 9.5. Vasquez has been unimpressive through his first 26 2/3 innings in the majors, with a 5.51 xERA, 19.1% strikeout rate, 11.3% walk rate.
