Cincinnati Reds infielder Jonathan India will start on second base and bat leadoff in Tuesday's series opener against left-hander Joey Wentz and the Detroit Tigers.
India is taking over as the leadoff batter while Jake Fraley takes a seat against a southpaw. Elly De La Cruz will hit seventh and TJ Friedl will bat ninth.
