Los Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani (oblique) is not in the lineup on Tuesday against right-hander Bryan Woo and the Seattle Mariners.
Ohtani was set to return for Monday's series opener, but he was a late scratch and is now out of the lineup for a ninth straight contest. Matt Thaiss will take care of DH duty Tuesday and bat sixth.
