St. Louis Cardinals infielder Tommy Edman is not in the lineup for Wednesday's series finale against right-hander Kyle Gibson and the Baltimore Orioles.
Edman will sit and reflect after he went 0-for-13 with 4 strikeouts the last three games. Lars Nootbaar will move to center field and Richie Palacios will cover the keystone for the Cardinals.
