Texas Rangers outfielder Leody Taveras will not start in Wednesday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays.
After Taveras was held out, Evan Carter will take over center field and bat ninth.
Per Baseball Savant on six batted balls this season, Carter has produced a 16.7% barrel rate and a .237 expected average.
