Los Angeles Angels designated hitter / pitcher Shohei Ohtani (oblique) will miss the remainder of the season.
Ohtani has been ruled out after a recent MRI revealed there was still “irritation” in his oblique area.
With elbow surgery scheduled soon to address his torn UCL, expect additional updates on Ohtani's status especially with free agency looming ahead.
