Cleveland Guardians outfielder Ramon Laureano is not in the lineup for Monday's series opener against right-hander Brady Singer and the Kansas City Royals.
Laureano reached base three times, hit a double, and scored a run in Sunday's series finale against the Texas Rangers, but he's out of the lineup for the second time in three games Monday afternoon. Myles Straw will replace Laureano in center field and hit ninth while Will Brennan makes another start in right.
numberFire’s models project Straw ($4,500) for 8.7 FanDuel points on the single-game slate Monday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Guardians have an inviting implied total (4.91) and the game total is a batter-friendly 9.5. Singer has a 5.51 ERA and 4.94 xERA (bottom 21st percentile of league) this season, with a 48.1% hard-hit rate (bottom 2nd), 19.1% strikeout rate (bottom 21st), and 6.9% walk rate (top 73rd).
