Chicago White Sox infielder Elvis Andrus will start on second base and bat ninth in Monday's series opener against right-hander Joan Adon and the Washington Nationals.
Andrus hit a double as the White Sox's leadoff batter in Sunday's series finale against the Minnesota Twins, but he's back at the bottom of the order for Monday's matchup. Tim Anderson is returning to the leadoff role and Zach Remillard is moving back to the bench after starting on second base last game.
numberFire’s models project Andrus ($2,700) for 9.4 FanDuel points on Monday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the White Sox's implied total is 4.65 and the game total is 9.0. Adon has a poor 5.92 ERA and 19.2% strikeout rate across 38 innings this season.
