San Francisco Giants outfielder Mitch Haniger is not in the lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Merrill Kelly and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The Giants appear to be giving Haniger a routine breather for the day game after a night game. Luis Matos will cover left field and hit sixth.
