St. Louis Cardinals catcher Willson Contreras (wrist) is not in the lineup for Thursday afternoon's series finale against left-hander Wade Miley and the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Cardinals sent Contreras for an MRI on his injured left wrist. Andrew Knizner will catch for Miles Mikolas and hit seventh on Thursday afternoon.
