Baltimore Orioles outfielder Aaron Hicks (hamstring) is back in the lineup for Thursday's series opener against right-hander Hunter Gaddis and the Cleveland Guardians.
Hicks was held out the first two games of the series with a hamstring issue, but he will return Thursday to play right field and hit seventh. Anthony Santander will shift to designated hitter while Heston Kjerstad takes a seat.
numberFire’s models project Hicks ($2,600) for 7.2 and Santander ($3,300) for 12.4 FanDuel points on Thursday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Orioles' implied total is 4.38 and the game total is 8.0. Gaddis has a poor 13.5% strikeout rate and middling 4.23 xERA behind his 4.85 ERA across 39 innings this season.
